"He Will Let You Go" First Born
At some point in all this mayhem Pharaoh must have realized that he went too far, pushed too hard, became too stubborn ... right?

A Snare to Us? Exodus 10-11
A View Towards the End Locusts & Darkness
An important thing to remember about the plagues in Egypt is that God conditioned both Egypt & Israel so that all of Israel could depart. Both people groups had to be ready for Israel to 'take to the highway' at the appropriate time. We can see some of that conditioning in operation today, how many protests, how many rebel businesses opening up again, will it take for our leadership to unlimber us and let us go? My suggestion? Look for God's finger in this crisis as He stirs up the world in rebellion!

Bible Study Exodus 10-11
"A Snare to Us?" Locusts & Darkness
As God conditions not only Egypt, but His own people, it's good to note that when God moves in your life, it's not always pleasant.

There Is No One Like the Lord! Exodus 8-9
A View Towards the End Viruses, Locusts, Murder Hornets
Egypt is not the only place who has endured various plagues, we've had not just the C19 virus, but also bugs! Locusts in Africa. Murder hornets in Washington! What else is coming our direction? And how will sheltering in place stop them?

A View Towards the End Let My People Go
If you go to any big box store you will see that it is open. Ditto for grocery outlets. Ditto for many large businesses. And yet the mom & pops, the small businesses, and all churches are required to stay closed?

Wait Patiently Psalm 37
Trusting in Times of Trouble Trusting in the Lord
As a Senior Systems Analyst, I used to ask a question when I helped another computer programmer solve a problem, "Can I drive?" Basically, can I take over your computer and look to see what is going wrong? In the same vein, all too often we want to nudge God's elbow to "help" Him solve our own problems!

What a disaster!

One Another Looking Upon Troubled Waters
God wants us to look out after one another even when times are troubled, even during the trials of life! Or should I say, Especially during the tribulations!

Hope & Faith Putting Things in Perspective
As we shelter in place, as we 'duck & cover', it's good to keep things in perspective. For instance, nothing is happening right now for which God has not already planned. For instance, our paths, our destinies, have already been mapped out by the Master of the Universe!

Easter Sunday Seeing Is Believing?
It would be very easy, given our current state of affairs, to slip away into a form of casual belief that melts under any pressure at all! Our challenge, as we move through these next few weeks is to keep a fervent faith in God, in Jesus Christ. Amen?

One Another Darker Becomes Lighter with One Another
We can forget our obligations of love/respect for one another. And when we do so the consequences are pretty grim. But God expects greater things from us, and gives us His love to accomplish them!

Palm Sunday The Essential Part of Worship
With worship services declared non-essential (and dangerous) we have to ask ourselves; what is essential about our faith?

Even in times of distress and social unrest,
we try to "get the Word out" that folks
may worship in truth and in spirit. Praise God
that we have the technology to support this type of endeavor!
