You have to admit that vv.9-10 are some of the more contentious passages in the Bible. After all it speaks about the unholy, so the pagans, the wickens and warlocks are going to be offended. It talks about the profane, so everyone who uses foul language will be offended. It names the immoral, so everyone who has ever committed adultery will be offended. And it cites homosexuals so all of the LGBT movement will be offended.
