"I've been a good person all my life, I can afford to do this." This to justify moving in together in order to maximize state benefits. Or his wife, and moral compass, is no longer with him and the widower takes to excessive drinking. The rationale being that she/he have done so much good in their lives that they are exempt with this little bit of bad. But God doesn't work that way.
