Thessalonians Sermon Series We have been working through the 4th and 5th chapters of 1 Thessalonians with a view toward how we can be ready, as Christians, for Christ's eminent return. How can we do that? For starters, we can admonish, encourage, help and be patient with one another. You can find out more by listening to the April/May Thessalonians series on the Sermons Page. FireGate Ministries A friend of mine sent me a link to an extremely powerful video clip from FireGate Ministries. FireGate is run by Tom & Deborah Gliebe who have extensive radio and video experience.  The short video that I watched is called The Rapture.  I highly recommend it! Also, visit the FireGate website and see what Tom & Deborah have to offer.  FireGate            Route 66 - Through the Bible in a Year The book of Judges was our most recent study topic. Did you know that there were twelve judges catalogued in this book spanning a period of 340 years (1390 B.C. to 1050 B.C.)? Samson (of Samson & Delilah fame) probably was the most famous judge, Deborah was the first female leader. The judges that we see in this book are a combination of military leader, spiritual leader and judge. If you think that you might like to get involved, the classes are every Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.  We work in twelve week "pods" and then take one week off.  Come on out and give it a try! Vacation Bible School Noah's Ark! Begins Monday, July 28th We still need teachers, cooks, artists and animal wranglers.  Plus, one or two carpenters to help put together some ark "sets".  If you are interested please contact Mark.  Also, contact the church office, or Mark, to enroll your children in this year's VBS.

Here is what Carol writes; Amy has a growth or something on the right side of her stomach. She says that when she lies down it protrudes out at least 4 inches. She is waiting to get an appointment with a surgeon for this. She has good size mammary lumps in her right arm pit. She has a mammogram scheduled. None of this sounds good.
